HS Kwartier is a unique development location in the heart of The Hague. A vertical area is being created along Hollands Spoor station that gives the skyline of The Hague an inspiring green impulse. Modern offices and workplaces are being realised in HS Kwartier, as well as homes, amenities and a hotel. The public areas in HS Kwartier will also receive a major green upgrade. It will be a place where living, meeting, working, learning and playing merge seamlessly. And where residents, users and visitors can promote a healthy, happy and vital lifestyle. The balance between all functions is central, as is the ambition to have health, fitness and pleasure supported by the physical environment. In concrete terms, this means inspiring architecture, lots of public green space and a lively mix of functions.

2019

The idea HS Kwartier

Circa 245.000 m2 urban development in the heart of The Hague with a tempting mix of working, living and leisure concepts. HS Kwartier is destined to become the most dynamic place in The Hague.

2020 - 2021

HSK Offices

The former building The Globe is now called HSK Offices and offers space for work, sports and relaxation. In addition, Postillion Hotels will open its eighth location here in april 2022: Postillion Hotel & Convention Center The Hague (ca. 6.500 m2 with a capacity of 1.400 people).

2021

Stationspostgebouw

Since mid 2021 the Stationspostgebouw is PostNL's new head office. This iconic building of almost 30.000 m2 has been restored with respect for its monumental values and is one of the 'must sees ' in the HS Kwartier. 

2023 - 2028

Escher gardens

Escher Gardens is an approximately 90.000 m2 large multipurpose project. It consists of an urban layer with two towers and will mainly house a smart living concept. The combination including offices, hospitality and shared mobility features will mean that Escher Gardens will be 'the place to be ' in The Hague.

Redevelopment HSK Offices

The redevelopment of HSK Offices involves the development of an urban layer with two towers. A 'mixed use' program has been planned in the building, including homes, facilities, commercial spaces and offices. This creates a dynamic place where young professionals, urban families and young elderly intersect and meet.

CONNECTED EVERYWHERE

HS Kwartier is a centrally located area in one of the most internationally oriented cities in the Netherlands. Thanks to the new pedestrian tunnel through HS station, you can reach the shopping and entertainment heart of the city center in 10 minutes on foot. Tram station and bus stops are right outside your door, which connect you to all locations in the city and of course the beach. At the station you can rent a bike quickly and easily. And because the Velostrada runs through the HS Kwartier between The Hague and Leiden, destinations such as Kop Binckhorst and Leiden are also great for cycling. Moreover, from Hollands Spoor Station you can be at Schiphol airport in 30 minutes, in Amsterdam within an hour and in London and Paris in 3 hours. Parking is also well organised in HS Kwartier. In addition to suitable parking solutions for each sub-project, you can also use the publicly accessible parking garages Laakhaven and Megastores. The Laakhaven garage has approx. 1.400 places and Megastores has 1.750 places. You will find both garages within a few minutes walking distance.
